Toiletries and Consumables

– We provide refillable bathroom toiletries (refilled by our cleaners on each changeover). This helps us reduce waste and minimise our impact on the environment. However, this only works if you don’t ‘borrow’ them. Please leave them behind so other guests can enjoy them too.

– We also provide a washing-up pack, washing machine tablets, toilet roll and kitchen roll. If more is needed there are several supermarkets close by

Restricted areas

– The conservatory area is predominantly used for storage of the hosts personal belongings. However, access is permitted for use of the washing machine and tumble dryer only

– This is a child friendly property, however we have not provided a travel cot or high chair. Guests are welcome to bring their own

Guest Notices & House Rules

– Please do not park on the grass
– Please remove your shoes upon entering our home
– The house runs on a septic tank, please do not put anything other than loo paper down the toilets (no sanitaryware, hair, cotton wool, chewing gum, food,
etc). If there is a blockage, please report immediately.
– Strictly no food, snacks, sweets or drinks upstairs (except water)
– Please ensure all children’s books are put away and toys are packed away
neatly as found
– Only put small soft food waste in the Insinkerator (no meat bones or fruit
stones) and use the wash brush to push into the top of the unit.
-Do not use your fingers or any other utensils, do not push the brush deep into the Inksinkerator. Please note, this must only be operated by adults over the age of 18. There are very sharp blades inside the Insinkerator, which will cause extreme damage to utensils or fingers
– Please do not put hot dishes/trays from the oven directly onto the kitchen surfaces or dining table – use the hob or the heat mats provided
– Please pull the BBQ out from under the pool house porch before using
– Please make sure you have disconnected the gas from the BBQ after use
– Please ensure you have removed all left over food from the BBQ, and cleaned it as found
– Please replace the BBQ cover before leaving
– Please return all garden furniture as found before leaving
– You must remain in the property while the washing machine or dryer is in use
– Please dispose of any lint in the dryer filter and empty the water tank into the bar’s sink after use
– Parties are strictly prohibited
– Smoking is strictly prohibited inside the house or pool house or out of
windows
– Smoking outside is permitted if butts are disposed of safely in the ashtrays located front and back
– Extra guests are not allowed
– Candles are strictly prohibited
– Please lock all windows and doors when leaving the property
– Please be mindful of energy usage during your stay
– This is your home away from home, please care for it as such

Swimming Pool Rules

– The swimming pool is only to be used from 8am to 8pm. The pool cover
MUST be put back on after use (latest by 8pm), as this heavily impacts the
temperature balance in the pool room
– Under 18s must be supervised at all times, by a responsible adult
– No outdoor shoes in the pool room
– The pool is used entirely at your own risk
– The jacuzzi and sauna are not for use
– No solo bathing
– Use the toilet and shower before use (no peeing in the pool please)
– Babies and non-toilet trained children must use a double nappy system in the pool
– Do not wear suntan lotions, spray tans, skin creams, make-up, small jewellery or loose false nails, in the pool
– Tie back long hair before entering the pool
– Do not walk on the swimming pool cover
– Do not enter the pool until the cover has been full retracted/removed
– Supervise all children in or around the pool at all times. No lone swimming
– Do not take food, drinks or glass into the pool house
– Familiarise yourself with the pool’s depths
– It is recommended that you do not use the pool after a heavy meal or while under the influence of alcohol or sedatives
– Seek medical advice before using if pregnant or have health problems or are immunocompromised
– Do not allow pets to enter the pool
– Please be mindful that the hard floor surfaces around the pool are likely to be slippery, particularly when wet. Take care when getting in and out.
– No running around the pool
– No diving, somersaults, or back flips into the pool
– The raised floor area at the back becomes very slippery when wet, so please keep wet bathers away from here, and ask them to stay around the pool only
– The table seating area in the pool room is for dry seating only – no wet
bottoms on seats please
– Please ensure you and all children dry off before entering the changing room area/toilet – this area should be kept dry.

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT

Check-in time is after 4pm, and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time, as this will cause disruption to the cleaner’s schedule.

My property management team will be available 24/7 via email or phone to provide any assistance my guests may need.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
