The space
Space:
Upon entering our Victorian apartment, you’ll be greeted by the character of the past; high ceilings and original fireplaces. The space is a harmonious blend of old-world charm and contemporary design, offering a stylish, cozy and inviting atmosphere.
Bedrooms:
Master Bedroom: A spacious and serene retreat featuring a comfortable super-king bed, large windows that flood the room with natural light, and ample storage space.
Second Bedroom: Ideal for friends or family, this room offers a king-sized mezzanine bed with a warm welcoming ambiance.
The second room also offers a spacious desk area and a separate quiet and snug reading area to relax and read.
Open Plan Living Area:
The living room is a haven for relaxation, furnished with comfy seating, a flat-screen TV, and a feature fireplace. It’s the perfect place to unwind after a day of exploring the vibrant city.
Open Plan Kitchen & Dining Area:
The fully equipped kitchen comes with all the modern amenities you need to prepare a delicious meal or a quick snack. A dining area provides a comfortable space for meals, with seating for four.
Bathroom:
The Victorian charm extends through the apartment right through to the bathroom.
Communal Entrance Area:
* Please note this property is located in a great area. There is a communal area leading up to the top floor flat that are in need of modernising. We are currently working with the management company to refurbish the front of the building and the communal flooring.
The price reflects this.
Guest access
Guests have access to the whole apartment. The main access to the property is via a couple of steps from the pavement to the front door of the main building. The apartment is on the top floor, away from the hustle and bustle and traffic.
Other things to note
There is no wheelchair access and the steps are steep so wouldn’t be suitable for a pushchair or pram.
The communal entrance is in the process of being updated. This is reflective in the price
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am.
A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule
We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as shampoo, shower gel and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a Convenience Store and Waitrose only a few minutes walk away
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys we require guest verification, which is provided by Superhog. Upon confirming your booking, Superhog will reach out to the lead booker through a secure link, providing detailed instructions for verification.
The online verification process requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once verification is successfully completed, the check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
