Lower Farmhouse is a wonderful Cotswold stone farmhouse located on Todenham Manor Farm, a modern family-run farm, just outside the village of Todenham. The farmhouse has a stunning private garden and provides great views across the farm and the surrounding countryside.
Sleeping 10, the farmhouse is perfect for groups of family or friends and boasts 5 ensuite bedrooms, 4 with superking size beds (can be split into twins on request at time of booking) and a further bedroom with a king size bed.
The space
Lower Farmhouse is the perfect place for family and friends to enjoy a wonderful stay in the idyllic Cotswolds, whether it be relaxing at the farmhouse with it’s beautiful garden, taking in some local walks and breathtaking scenery or using the farmhouse as a base from which to explore the Cotswolds.
The farmhouse spans three floors, giving plenty of space and privacy for guests. The farmhouse dates back to the 19th century however has been recently modernised keeping a balance between maintaining original features and a contemporary upgrade.
The downstairs layout has a large fully equipped modern kitchen with breakfast table .Head from the kitchen to the main reception room, with plenty of seating for all guests, wall mounted TV and large working fireplace for those cosy winter evenings! Moving further through the property is the wonderfully presented dining room. The ground floor also has a TV / music snug room and separate utility room with washing machine and additional fridge / freezer.
The first floor has three bedrooms each with super-king size beds and large ensuite bath / shower rooms, a further bedroom with king size bed and separate shower-room. Each bedroom also has it’s own TV
The top floor has the farmhouse’s master bedroom, a wonderfully spacious room with exposed beans, super king size bed and ensuite, complete with bath, two seater sofa and TV.
PLEASE NOTE: Any of the super king size beds can be split into two singles; please request at time of booking
All bedrooms come with hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
The farmhouse also benefits from the most amazing south facing garden, giving plenty of space for children to run around, as well as a patio area with garden furniture and charcoal BBQ (one bag left per stay) for some al fresco dining, weather permitting!
As the farmhouse is situated on a working farm with livestock, certain areas around the house are restricted, with details provided in the farmhouse.
Todenham Manor Farm boasts a fabulous farm shop stocking a wide range of produce from the farm and other local suppliers. There is also Moo’s Cafe, which offers breakfast and lunch 7 days a week, as well as delicious home-made cakes!
Please note:
As the farmhouse dates back to the 19th century there are some low beams and steep stairs, so please be careful.
A maximum of two dogs (£25 charge per dog) are allowed for an additional fee; please ask at time of booking. Please keep your dogs on a lead at all times whilst outside the property.
No smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before. Please try to give as much notice as possible with your arrival time.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 10am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
Guest access
Guests will have exclusive access to the farmhouse and the garden.
The farmhouse is on the owners working farm and accordingly certain areas around the farmhouse are restricted. The farmhouse is peaceful and you will have privacy to relax and enjoy the surroundings.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
