Park Avenue is our holiday home in Bath, providing self-catering accommodation on the edge of the city centre and close to the amenities of Bear Flat, with incredible views across to the Royal Crescent, Bath Abbey, and only a 15-min walk to the Rec for those rugby fans…
Park Avenue is a 3-bedroom Victorian terraced property, built in Bath stone. You will find Park Avenue cozy & warm with all the amenities you would expect for a top quality holiday home.
The space
Park Avenue offers the best of both worlds, with stunning panoramic views of Bath from all floors, whilst being only a short walk downhill into the city. The property has been lovingly refurbished in early 2020, including restoration of the solid wood flooring and upgrading of the bathrooms. A number of interesting items were found under the floorboards during the refurbishment, including some cigarette packets over 50 years old!
Comfortably furnished, Park Avenue offers three wonderful bedrooms, sleeping up to 6 people, located over the first and second floors. All beds are fitted with Egyptian cotton bed linen from The White Company:
– Bedroom 1 is on the second floor and is equipped with a king size bed, en-suite, and panoramic views of Bath.
– Bedroom 2 is on the first floor and features a king size bed, built in wardrobe and plantation shutters in the south facing bay window.
– Bedroom 3 is also on the first floor and includes a double bed, built in wardrobe and spectacular views of Bath.
Both the en-suite and the family bathroom have both been completely stripped back and refurbished in 2020. Featuring a mix of tradtional bathroom furniture and modern elements, both include rainfall showers and pure Egyptian cotton towels from The White Company. The family bathroom also features ‘his & hers’ sinks, and underfloor heating.
Living Accommodation & Kitchen
The open plan living room and dining room is perfect to comfortably accommodate up to 6 people. A television, Apple TV, Disney+ subscription, and bluetooth speaker are provided for all your entertainment needs.
The kitchen enjoys further views of the city and is equipped with fridge freezer, hob, oven, dishwasher, Samsung washing machine, and everything you might need to whip up dinner for an evening in.
Outside there is a private patio with seating for 6 to experience the views across the city.
Parking
Parking is restricted to residents only around Park Avenue Mon-Sat 8am-6pm, however a temporary permit is available on request for up to one vehicle for the duration of your stay. Please contact us prior to your stay if you require use of the parking permit.
Unrestricted parking is available c10 min walk from Park Avenue.
