About this space
This is a fabulous Victorian stone cottage ideally located in a quiet street off the town centre It is just a 5-10 min gentle walk to shops, pubs, restaurants, and Opera House. On the ground floor, there is a fully fitted kitchen including a range cooker, dishwasher, fridge & freezer. There is a large dining room and a beautiful lounge to wind down in after a hectic day exploring.
On the upper floors, there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 twin rooms. There are 2 bathrooms. To the rear is a small patio.

The space
The property is very bright, getting sun at the rear in the morning and at the front in the evening. There are views from the front bedrooms over the hills.

The property was refurbished in June 2022. The guests have full exclusive access to the whole house. There is a small secure yard to the rear which can be used for bike storage. Access to the yard for bikes is, through the rear of the neighbor’s property. In the lounge, there is a log effect electric fire. The house has full gas central heating with controls in the dining room. We have full internet with usually 30-40mbps download and a strong wifi signal throughout the property. Both bathrooms have large showers with high pressure and plenty of hot water. The first-floor bathroom also has a bath. Both have heated towel rails. Bedroom 1 includes a desk should anybody need some peace to work.

Matt & Kerry have been passionate about the wonderful Peak District for most of their lives, enjoying the area for both business and pleasure. Matt is the main day-to-day contact, a business consultant, short term letting & property professional, successfully launching & managing his own Peak District holiday cottage business over the last couple of years, Kerry is also an experienced Operations Director. In recent years, Matt & Kerry also launched a property business in Bulgaria, helping customers with an end-to-end service, allowing them to invest in the Bulgarian property market, as well as build their own property and land portfolio. They bring an in-depth knowledge of the Peak District and understand the challenges owners may face in this area, helping them to maximize their property occupancy rates, as well as introducing many ways to support guests' enjoyment of the property and help them to explore the Peak District more fully.
