Andoversford is a village 5 miles drive from Cheltenham and 10 minutes from popular Bourton on the Water. The village is on the River Coln, and has many lovely public walks of the surrounding area, including Cleeve Hill and Crickley Hill Country Park. You can walk on the public right of way behind the house, over the stile, 100 metres through the field to the local pub The Royal Oak, or visit The Frogmill and the Kilkeney Inn. There is a local shop is within 200 metres, a 24 hour filling station with 2 km and a Post Office at the other end of the village. There are other beautiful Cotswolds villages and churches to explore in neighbouring Whittington, Whithington and Dowdeswell or play golf at the 9 hole pay and play course at Shipton.
Getting around
There is free parking for two cars in the driveway, as well as further free on-street parking.
There are local buses that travel to Cheltenham, as well as nearby villages and towns. The bus stop is about 200 metres from the house by the local shop.
My home is a lovely 17th-century converted barn in the picturesque village of Andoversford. This Grade II listed property has 3 bedrooms, one ensuite, and 2 king size and 1 double beds. The property has been recently renovated, maintaining it’s original features, and has been tastefully furnished throughout.
My home is a perfect base to soak up village life, explore Cheltenham and all the Cotswolds has to offer..
The space
My converted barn has two floors, giving plenty of space and privacy. The renovation has been carefully planned, balanced between maintaining original features, such as exposed beams, Cotswolds stone wall features and a contemporary upgrade, making the barn a wonderful place to stay!
The downstairs layout has a large living and dining area, with log burner and Smart TV. The dining area comfortably sits 6, and has French doors opening up to the front garden, perfect for spring / summer. To the rear of the barn is the modern fully equipped kitchen, with Hotel Chocolate Nespresso machine as well as a utility room for those muddy boots and coats, and separate WC.
The secluded private garden allows for morning coffee in the sun, and a barbeque for a perfect way to unwind and relax after a long day exploring!
The first floor has the master bedroom with king size bed (Hypnos mattress) and ensuite shower room. There are two further bedrooms, one with king size bed and the other with a double bed (Gainsborough mattress), as well as a family bathroom. All bedrooms come with anti-allergy pillows and duvets, hotel quality crisp cotton sheets, fluffy towels for each guest and complementary toiletries.
There is free parking for two cars.
Please no smoking or vaping is permitted throughout the property.
CHECK IN
Check in time is from 3pm but we will try to let you get into the cottage sooner, if requested. It just depends if we have guests staying the night before.
CHECK OUT
Check out is 11am, so we can get the property ready for our next guests.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the whole property, including exclusive use of the garden.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
