Disappointing the photos and description are deceptive, the cleaning score didn’t match what we found. The fireplace was. The fireplace was lovely but no kindling was left so had to buy our own. The lounge area was great and comfy sofa’s. The garden was nice and safe for my dog.. The second bedroom had NO storage - no drawers, no wardrobe, nothing! Also no mirror in this room, or the small room. The main bedroom was advertised as a king size bed it definitely wasn’t - it was a double and cheap spongey mattress. There were no plug sockets accessible for hairdryer use in the main bedroom except next to the bed which were 6 foot away from the mirror. There were a lot of cobwebs - kitchen, lounge, upstairs. The shower curtain needs washing or changing badly stained! The bottom step of the stairs is the same colour as the floor and the first step and stairs are carpeted so gives the illusion when coming downstairs that your down to the floor when your not subsequently I hurt my ankle as I slipped and so did my friend - dangerous! The kitchen tap drips very badly and is very annoying! Would be nice to have curtains or blinds in the kitchen as very exposed especially at night with lights on. Very unhelpful hosts I asked for an early check in and late check out and was told to ask on the day which we did and was told no they had to do an extensive clean! Well they obviously didn’t and no late check out which would have been nice on New Year’s Day ... Read full reviewClose

We've had a lovely stay- nice to just get away from everyday life and only 1&1/2 hr away from us.. We've never been to Chichester before, the location was perfect to see the beautiful surrounding area. The kitchen had everything we needed even cling film which was very useful. The garden was enclosed and safe for the dogs. The cottage is lovely and plenty of room for us all (4 plus 2 dogs). ... Read full reviewClose

A lovely break in a very pretty and comfortable cottage with all the amenities and a lovely fire. A really lovely cottage - beautifully decorated and comfortable.. Nothing really but I was concerned that u less you are really focussed on the shower curtain and making sure it doesn’t let water let out from when you are Hank g a shower, the surrounding wood will rot ...
