The Old Telephone Exchange is in an ideal situation in Cartmel However we felt that the cottage needed a deep clean. Bedding and pillows all need updating and replacing as we felt they were weathered and rather dated. We also acknowledge that dogs are allowed at this property but didn’t really expect to get up off the couch to find our clothes full of dog hairs ... Read full reviewClose

... Read full reviewClose

Beautiful Cottage Close to Cartmel. Location is perfect for a wander into Cartmel! Very quiet, even with it being next to a road. Plenty of facilities and the views were stunning. The only thing that we struggled with a little bit was the stairs. It's a beautiful iron/metal type staircase that curves up, however, a family member struggled a little going up and down confidently due to the wide gaps and patterned steps. A little painful if walking bare foot and a slight hazard if there was an emergency to leave the house! ... Read full reviewClose
