The space
This newly refurbished two storey house is a gorgeous little getaway by the sea.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

John Ewens 21/10/2024Good, but could have been so much better.. Gorgeous place that met all of our needs.. Outdoor space was unusable due to overflowing bins, flies and unclean furniture. Couldn't use any kitchen items without first washing them, as they were so grubby. Hairs in the bedding. No hot water available on check in, this had not been checked, but was remedied by the owners after a couple of phone calls. ... Read full reviewClose

Michelle Wells 11/08/2024Lovely stay, lovely property, lovely little town.. Modern, clean and tidy. Well equipped kitchen. Lovely modern bathroom.. The backyard needs cleaning, only real use is as a “dog toilet” Bins were overflowing and clearly hadn’t been emptied for some time. If it was hotter it they would have smelt. The backyard gate needs fixing, it,s damaged and won’t shut properly so not secure. Bathroom downstairs wasn’t expected, we prefer an upstairs bathroom. The sink in the bathroom is not really practical, if you bend over to brush your teeth, you bang your head on the shelf. No hooks in the kitchen for towels. The front door key was faulty and often didn’t turn we had to faff about with it for ages to lock the property from inside and out. The windows only opened right at the top, some were even locked. You could’nt easily reach them and they gave hardly any ventilation to the property. In a heat wave this would be a major problem. also if there’s a fire you could not use any of the windows to get out. Although the property is away from the beach front on a main road, which isn’t ideal, it’s a nice walk to the front which is only 30minutes, great shopping centre, which wasn’t expected.Seaham is lovely and close to Durham and Sunderland, where the beach front is also lovely. ...
