Annie Millen 30/10/2024Contemporsry Central comfy stay in beautiful York. Interior design of a Victorian terrace house. Excellent shower. 2 cafetieres and lots of cups!. One loo in the bathroom is a little juggle. Sofa bed is not a double so does not sleep 6. Iron was faulty and dangerous so we put a note with this for the cleaner and told her. Had to phone global management company re parking who attended to us abd were great but on arrival we were unaware of need for parking permit. ... Read full reviewClose

Maria Tsagkaraki 29/05/2024Beautiful property very close to the centre of York!. The house is very beautiful and spacious and the location is excellent only a 10min walk to York city centre but also in a charming and peaceful neighborhood and close to a number of lovely shops on Bishopthorpe road that we wouldn't have otherwise discovered!. The check-in and check-out times could offer more flexibility for guests as we had to check-in no earlier than 1600 but had to check-out at 1000 which is really early. ... Read full reviewClose

Fiona Abbott 22/02/2024Fantastic location on a quiet street - only a few minutes walk to get into the centre of York. A nice little high street at the top of the road too.. The property was superficially clean but there were a lot of cobwebs and dust in places - needs a deep clean. We also had a problem in that there was a leak of water from the kitchen ceiling which was a concern. The emergency contact did not seem interested but someone apparently did come out and check while we were out and about. We were worried as we didn't know if we could have a shower etc for the rest of our stay. The main issue I have though is that on top of the cost (£170 per night) I had to pay "Superhog" £10 to verify my identity and £500 deposit has been taken from my credit card (not a hold but the money taken) and it won't be refunded for another 2 weeks after our stay ended. ...
