Situated on the first floor and arranged on one floor – the apartment building feels safe and secure and requires a keyfob to enter. The apartment is spacious and stylish with complimenting colour tones, wood flooring runs throughout the kitchen/dining room and hallway, with carpet in the bedrooms for extra comfort. There are modern interior design touches throughout and we hope guests enjoy the space as much as we do!
LIVING ROOM/DINING ROOM AREA
This bright and spacious, open-plan living area is flooded with light via floor to ceiling windows. Guests can enjoy views over both part of the Crystal Palace Academy Training ground and part of the Kent County Cricket ground. The space is thoughtfully ‘zoned’ into a comfortable living and relaxing end of the room with large comfy sofa, large floor rug, coffee table and TV area. The apartment has a Chromecast TV(which can be used to access the major streaming apps, such as Netflix, Amazon etc -please note that guest personal log-ins are required). Meals can be enjoyed within the dining area- with cosy table and bench seating. There are four places, making it an ideal space within the apartment and a great place to socialise.
KITCHEN
The beautifully designed kitchen is well equipped with all of the main appliances, such as a fridge freezer, dishwasher, hob, and oven. There are also smaller appliances you can use such as a kettle and toaster. There is a washing machine for guests to use. There are large work surfaces to prepare meals and cupboards for storage.
MASTER BEDROOM AND ENSUITE SHOWER ROOM
The modern furnishings continue through to the Master bedroom, where there is an inviting (UK) Double-sized bed, bedside tables and bedside lamp. There is a floor to ceiling window with curtains which allow guests to control the light into the room. There is a large wardrobe, with mirror doors, for guest belongings along with a large chest of drawers, for folded items. This bedroom is a calm and inviting space with the added benefit of an en-suite shower room with shower cubicle, WC, basin and over-basin mirrors.
SECOND BEDROOM
Back via the entrance hall, is the second bedroom. This more vibrant room with blue and orange colour palette has a (UK) Double-sized bed, ceiling light, bookcase and a small desk and fabric chair for guests choosing to work or study during their stay.
Again in this space there is a floor to ceiling window with curtains.
There is a wardrobe guest belongings with some hanging space and a shelf for folded clothing.
BATHROOM
The main bathroom allows guests to relax in the bath or use the shower, which is above the bathtub. There is a WC, basin and towel rail along with an over-basin mirrored wall.
CLEANING AND LINEN
The apartment is professionally cleaned and the linen and towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. Each guest will receive one hand towel and shower towel to use for the stay.
PARKING
There is some limited on-street parking available on the street the apartment building is located on as well as some adjoining roads slightly further away so parking may involve a short walk to the apartment, depending on where a space can be located.
The apartment is located within the London Ultra Low Emissions Zone (ULEZ) and charges may apply for drivers.
WHAT IS PROVIDED – There should be some complimentary tea and coffee packs, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during guest stays are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there is a convenience store, located next to Lower Sydenham Station, which is a 2minute walk away at 7 Station Approach, London SE26 5BN – This store is open daily 7am-10pm.
There is also a large Sainsbury’s at Southend Ln, London SE26 4PU- less than 10 mins walk away (At the Bell Green Retail Park). This Superstore is open Monday-Saturday 7am-12midnight and Sunday 11am-5pm. Aldi and Lidl also have stores located at the Bell Green Retail Park.
Guests will have access to the entire apartment during their stay. We won’t be around in person during your stay, however, a remote self-check-in gives flexibility for arrivals, after 4pm. My property management company, Pass the Keys®, is on hand to provide 24/7 guest support should guests need any assistance before, during or after their stay.
SHARED SPACES – Guests are welcome to visit the shared outdoor area, work hub and/or the gym which is located on the ground floor of the building. Please remember to take your key with you so you can get back into the apartment.
Gym rules/restrictions –
*Only for use by guests aged 18years old and over.
*Guest can only use the gym with other guests staying within the apartment and no additional guests may be invited to use this gym space.
*Guests use this gym at their own risk and there is no gym staff present within this area
*Guests must look after the gym equipment and guests would be responsible for any damage caused to the equipment.
Work hub/space
*Guest can only use the work hub/space with other guests within the booking no additional guests may be invited to use this work hub/space.
*Guest are requested to respect the peaceful space and be considerate to other users of this space.
CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT – Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am.
PARKING – On-Street parking is limited and would be located on Worsley Bridge Road or on some of the surrounding roads further up the street. Guests must not drive in or park on the premises, even for just a short time, as this may incur a parking fine due to external building cameras. Guests should follow all road sign instructions and not park on any yellow lines.
BUILDING SECURITY/CONCIERGE – Are usually onsite 7 days per week during the hours of 7am-7pm.
CCTV – As with most apartment building there is some CCTV present both inside and outside the building, including in some of the shared spaces – for example the work hub/space.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
