I liked: Compared to other hotels/apartments in Rye, this is definitely a cheaper option. It’s in a good location and only a short walk away from the town centre. It had everything you’d need for a weekend break. I did not like: The apartment itself, whilst cheaper than other stays, perhaps wasn’t worth the total amount we paid. In truth, if we’d known about the additional non-refundable deposit, we’d probably have gone somewhere else. Additionally the apartment, although spacious, is in need of some TLC. For instance the bathroom could do with some maintenance - the shower temperature ran either boiling hot or incredibly cold, and both the shower and tub itself were rather small. I liked: So clean and the facilities were great, (we didn't need to use the washing machine but I was SO excited that the property had one) , it was so easy to collect the keys and the owners were so communicative and let us come in like an hour early and let us know what time checkout was so we could be ready in time and gave very clear instructions for key pick up/return it was so amazing! they had games under the TV storage, little snacks and espresso pods for us, and the location is amazing! I love rye and this is definitely the best place I've stayed, we'll 100% be coming back!!! the whole apartment in general was just really really cool, I wish I had booked a longer stay!! we got sick on the last day so I couldn't clean up as much as I would have liked to or as much as I usually would before we left, so I feel like I have to come back to prove myself haha!! It's within walking distance of the high street, but is far enough away to not be so busy right outside the front door, and public transport is close by too !! we loved our stay so much and we are so grateful !!
