Deborah Lee 28/12/2024The cottage was very charming, very clean and equipped with everything you have at home for cooking. It is a great locat. Such a lovely cottage in a great location in Canterbury. Easy walking access to the center of town and the Cathedral, even with a foot still healing from surgery. It also had private off street parking at the property. ... Read full reviewClose

Jennifer Ann 12/10/2024Lovely cottage very centrally located but parking is tight.. Lovely cottage right in the middle of Canterbury, just a few minutes walk from the shops and Marlowe Theatre. Clean and well equipped.. The stairs were very steep. Accessing the parking space in our Kia Stonic was difficult. The turn into the lane is very tight as the road is narrow. Once down the lane, there is barely enough space to turn. Our car is not big by modern standards but anything bigger than our car would not have managed it. ... Read full reviewClose

Bridget Cosyn 24/06/2024A lovely quaint little cottage to stay close to the old town of Canterbury. Suitable for a couple. Loved the cottage and location. Very charming and situated on the river. The cottage has everything that one needs to stay for a number of days. The downstairs loo is a great advantage as well. Close to the centre of the city. Go to the Goods Shed for dinner, fabulous.. We had difficulty finding the place because the maps directed us to Greyfriars Lodge instead. When we entered the postal code, it led us to a gated area (clearwater Mews) where parking was not possible. Finding car access to the property was challenging, especially because the wooden gate was closed. Maneuvering our small SUV was quite tight, and parking in front of the cottage was hindered by the doorstep. To find the property look out for Taylors Hairdressing 1 St Edmunds Rd, Hospital lane and Clearwater Mews - the access is along a small narrow lane between these streets. Hope this helps. ... Carolyn Taylor 20/06/2024Very comfortable .. Lovely view from my window .Quiet area and comfortable beds. Easily walkable to town and not far from rail and bus stations.. Believe what they say about parking , you can not turn even my small fiesta around once you are on the gravel path , so you you must not mind reversing . ... Read full reviewClose

Lynn Mills 05/06/2024Average. Expected more.. Loved the location. The washing machine was useful.. The bed in the second bedroom was the hardest bed I have ever slept on. It needs a mattress topper. The outdoor furniture was rusty and not inviting to sit on. The house was cluttered with personal things and it felt like the owner had moved out just before we moved in. We gave up trying to park our SUV vehicle there and paid for parking. The driveway was too tight with wheelie bins, a motor bike and neighbours plants. The deposit and admin fee we were asked for from a third party to stay there was not consistent with other properties. An all round bad experience for us. ... Read full reviewClose
