Immerse yourself in the beauty of Bosham, a lovely harbour village known for it’s Saxon church and waterfront cafe. Stroll to Bosham Harbour to explore the craft centre, enjoy the quaint pub with waterfront views, and soak in the atmosphere. This location also serves as an excellent base for exploring the Chichester area, the South Downs, or attending Goodwood events.

This family-friendly cottage in Bosham, just 5 miles from Chichester, offers a charming escape within walking distance of Bosham Harbour. Our pet-friendly holiday home is the perfect base for exploring the area’s beautiful walking trails. Enjoy warm summer evenings in the secluded, fully fenced patio garden, complete with outdoor furniture and a heated pool. With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, the cottage comfortably accommodates up to eight guests, making it an ideal retreat for relaxation and adventure year-round.

The cottage features a bright and inviting ground floor, starting with an office to the right, ideal for remote workers or anyone needing a quiet spot to catch up on tasks. As you move further in, you’ll discover a spacious sitting room filled with comfortable sofas, ideal for enjoying quality moments with family and friends. This living area is equipped with a piano, log burner, as well as a Smart TV, allowing you to unwind with your favourite shows (please remember to log in with your own credentials for streaming apps).

Adjacent to the sitting room, the dining area comfortably seats eight, making it a wonderful space for sharing meals. This area seamlessly transitions into a fully equipped kitchen, designed for both convenience and functionality. In the kitchen, you’ll find everything you need, including a small dining area, kettle, gas hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, and washer-dryer, and a small dining area for four.

The ground floor bedroom has a king-size bed. This spacious room also includes a cot for little ones, along with ample storage options featuring wardrobes and a chest of drawers. Just to the left outside the room, you’ll find a stylish bathroom equipped with a large walk-in shower.

Upstairs, you’ll find two additional bedrooms. The first features a comfortable king-size bed and a chest of drawers. The second bedroom is perfect for larger groups, equipped with a double bed and three single beds, and chest of drawers for storage. There is a family bathroom with a shower and bath.

The spacious garden, complete with a patio and a dining set, creates the perfect atmosphere for alfresco dining. This delightful space is also ideal for garden games and provides plenty of room for children to play.You can also take advantage of the heated pool, available from May to September.

The summerhouse features a double bed, seating area, and a bathroom equipped with a shower—perfect for rinsing off after a refreshing swim! Please note, this is only available in the summer and the extra bed is upon special request.

Convenient parking for four cars is available at the property. You will have exclusive access to the entire cottage, with professional management services ensuring cleanliness, fresh linens, and towels between each stay. Remote self-check-in allows for flexible arrival times, and our 24/7 guest support is available to assist you during your visit.

Upon arrival, complimentary tea, coffee, and biscuits await you, providing a warm welcome after a long journey. We provide fresh white bedding and towels (one hand towel and one bath towel per person) and offer miniature travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Additionally, a kitchen pack is included, featuring essentials such as kitchen roll, Jeyes cloths, sponges, washing up liquid, bin liners, tea towels, washing pods, and dishwasher tablets. Loo rolls are also provided for your convenience. Should you require more supplies, a Co-Op is just a 10-minute walk away.

We welcome one pet in our property, but kindly review the Pet section under ‘Other things to note’ before booking to ensure compliance with our guidelines.

Guests will have the entire home to themselves, with allocated parking for up to four cars. There is a bus stop on Delling Lane, Bosham, and the nearest train station is Bosham which can take you through to London.

Other things to note
* Standard check-in time is 4pm onwards, and check-out time is before 10am.
* Please note that a fee of £100 will be charged for lost keys, and a fee of £50 for a call out if you are locked out.
*Please let us know when booking if you require a high chair and please note that we do not provide cot bedding, so please bring your own.

Pets
One small, well behaved dog is welcome to join you on your holiday in the cottage. Please message in advance with the details of your pet (breed/age).
– Dogs must be well behaved and house trained.
– Please do not allow them upstairs or on the furniture.
– Please clear up after them in the garden and around the property.
– Muddy paws should be cleaned before they are allowed in the house.
– Please do not leave them alone in the property.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

For many years we ran an independent hotel in Chichester and managed self-catering holiday apartments, also setting up and running restaurants and cafes across the city. We have extensive knowledge of the hospitality industry in Chichester and are thrilled to now be able to share that knowledge and help others to achieve their property’s full potential. Chichester is such a beautiful area and we are incredibly lucky to be able to live and work here.
