Ben Crome 23/12/2024Lovely property and great for our stay, lots of olants and greenery and clearly taken care of. Very spacious and has everything you need, and great location with easy access to all of Bath's sites as well as parking. Quiet and peaceful. The reclining sofas are incredible. ... David Newton 23/12/2024A stunning home in a wonderful location. It was a pleasure to spend a few nights here in May and never felt cosier. The magic of the spider plants around the bedroom perfectly set a serene environment for some much needed RnR. I can’t recommend this place highly enough! Thank you Gina! ... Read full reviewClose

Ricky Weaver 23/12/2024A really lovely, quirky, place in a great location, just an easy/flat 10-15 minute walk to the centre of Bath but quiet enough to get a good night's sleep. Lots of space - light and airy, and we loved the garden and secret door into Sydney gardens! Having paid a £55 cleaning fee, we've given 4 stars and not 5 because the kitchen wasn't as clean as we hoped (i.e. there were crumbs on the floor and on the baking trays, the drawers and utensils felt a bit greasy/grimy). It just felt like it needed a good deep clean. There was also mold in the shower cubicle which could be easily cleaned. It also didn't have a microwave too, which is disappointing. Overall though - would defo stay again and wouldn't let this put others off. ... Read full reviewClose

Daniel Allen 29/08/2024Our stay was brilliant and just what we needed for our weekend, lovely setting and so close to the centre to take a love. Everything about the property was great it was set in a perfect location and the property had everything you would need for a short stay, we used the cottage as a base for the weekend as we were getting married in bath and it was perfect. I wouldn’t pick out any faults at all as the description of the property matched exactly what you got ... Read full reviewClose

S. Anne 05/07/2024Very comfortable. Also with the weather soaring to great heights and then dropping again suddenly overnight, this property was excellent cool during the heatwave and then the automatic heating kicked in to keep the temperature pleasant when the outside temp dropped unexpectedly. All modern conveniences available, well equipped kitchen and I really enjoyed using the secret door. If you like your daily yoga practice/pilates etc, the landing upstairs is ideal - with lovely views to boot! The parking is an absolute boon in Bath and much appreciated.. It states that the accommodation is a level walk in to town. This is not quite accurate as there is a steep climb from the bottom of Sydney Gardens to either the secret door or the front of the property on the main road. There is a tennis/badders court right next to the property and on Saturday afternoon a particularly un-cherubic little cherub and pals decided to play kick ball on the outside wall of the accommodation. This coincided with a designated quiet time within a hectic schedule and I was unfortunately unable to get the quick nap I needed. This was the only reason for dropping the stars and although this is not something the owners could possibly control it is nevertheless an inconvenience and something travellers should be aware of. ... Holly Bower 26/03/2024A lovely long weekend away in this little gem. The cottage was perfect, in a beautiful location in walking distance to everything we needed. All amenities in full working order, fast wifi and super comfy bed. Cottage overall was clean and beautifully decorated. Added bonus with the free parking on site as well! We also really appreciated that the hosts allowed us to leave the car for a few hours after checkout which meant we could go and have lunch in the centre before travelling back home. We would 100% stay here again! ... Read full reviewClose

karen turner 15/03/2024Lovely cosy Garden House with Parking and entrance to park and canal Bath.. The Location is excellent and the secret door to the park a bonus. The parking is very secure. Very cosy inside and well appointed. Super shower and hot water. Circulating air is obviously a problem which can leave a musty smell. Please don’t advertise a dishwasher if the door is going to be screwed shut so it cant be used? The Oven and trays need. little attention as well as the pick up from the hoover on the carpet. The heating is frustrating as it goes off after a period of time I’m sure it is great in the summer when not needed. ... Read full reviewClose

Laurie Rousham 20/11/2022Wonderful location at top of Sydney Gardens. Cottage is superbly designed, generously and intelligently furnished. The wifi worked faultlessly and everything was spotless when I arrived. Having private parking on site is worth a lot in itself, especially in Bath. I don’t usually spend this much on a short stay away, but that’s probably why I never stay anywhere as nice as this. I could have won the lottery while I was there (but I suppose that would involve buying a ticket) Angels could have descended and told me my sins were forgiven. Neither of these things happened but otherwise, I have no complaints. ... Read full reviewClose
