Quick House Manual

Check-in / out
• Check-in from 15:00

Heating & hot water
• Smart thermostats control heating & hot water – please set comfortable temperatures rather than switching to full power.
• Towel radiators are on the bathroom circuits.

Kitchen kit
• Induction hob/oven, microwave, dishwasher, cafetière, toaster, washer-dryer.
• Basic spices & cooking oil provided; please replace anything you finish.

EV charging (on site)
• 7kW home charger on the drive. BYO cable.
• Please only charge EVs on the dedicated charger (not from house sockets).
• Pay-per-kWh via QR on the charger.

Bins & recycling
• Collection day: Thursday mornings
• Green (general), black box (glass), and yellow sack (mixed dry recycling).
• Please place bins out to the kerb the evening before collection.

Noise, smoking & candles
• No parties. Quiet hours after 22:00.
• Strictly no smoking or candles indoors.

Stairs & layout
• Stairs are traditional cottage-style and a touch steeper than modern new-builds; please take care, especially with little ones. Baby gates are in the hall cupboard.

Breakages
• We get it – things happen. Please tell us so we can fix/replace swiftly.

Emergency
• 999 for police / fire / ambulance.
• Nearest A&E: Conquest Hospital, Hastings.

Getting to the Beach (2–3 minutes)

Out through the gate; 2) follow the public path about 10 yards from the house; 3) cross Old Lydd Road carefully; 4) take the sandy path over the dunes to the beach.
Tip: Tide times, flags and RNLI advice are on the beach boards – always swim between the red-and-yellow flags in season.

Pets & Beach Rules

• One well-behaved dog is welcome. Please keep muddy paws to the hallway and use the outdoor tap & dog towels provided.
• Camber Sands is dog-friendly year-round, with seasonal zoned restrictions from 1 May to 30 Sept (clearly signed on the beach). Please bag & bin at all times.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
