Shrewsbury is a beautiful medieval town, nestled in the loop of the River Severn. It’s packed with over 600 beautiful, listed buildings, many of them delightfully crooked black-and-white Tudor shops and dwellings in
ancient, steep, narrow alleyways called ‘shuts.’ It has excellent shopping with plenty of boutique and designer shops, as well as all the main chain stores.
A peaceful place to spend your time in comfort.
Visit the famous Quarry Park by the River.
Take a River cruise on the Sabrina riverboat (subject to season).
Visit the flower show or many festivals this quaint town is renown for.
You are spoilt for choice in Shrewsbury for eating and drinking out!
The varied restaurants, bars and old English pubs cater for everyone.
Why cook indoors when you can dine out and explore the town.
We have recommendations in our guest manual and hope that you will come to stay.
A warm welcome from us and we look forward to your stay.
The whole of the apartment is for guests to use.
There are stairs up to the first floor. These are not steep so should not cause any issue.
If you would like a late check-out, we’re happy to offer this (this is subject to availability of our cleaning team) for an additional fee of £25, up to 1pm. After 1 pm, we will have to charge a further night’s stay.

Linda Laverty 26/03/2026I liked: Location was really good and the property was exceptionally clean. The bed was really comfortable and it was good to have parking facilities albeit there was a charge I did not like: Heating in bedroom was remotely controlled although the host did put the heater on upon request straight away. However would have liked to have been able to control heaters myself instead of having to contact host. There were radiator covers round the radiators which I feel stopped the heat from flowing round the room. There was insufficient hot water and upon contacting host was advised it states in the manual there is a separate water heater as opposed to a combi boiler. The manual was only obtained once payment was made in full. I did not feel the shower pressure was great for us personally. Summary: Did not feel value for money due. ... Read full reviewClose

Lesley Plummer 29/12/2025I liked: Location to the town centre. Cleanliness Boutique feel The option of a private parking space I did not like: Tv only being streamed through apps Small bathroom Having to pay for the parking space if wanted. Slightly awkward location of water heater switch under the sink that was required each time you needed hot water in the kitchen and bathroom sink. Summary: Comfy boutique apartment in great location. ... Read full reviewClose

Ian Langeveld 04/12/2025I liked: The location is good I did not like: Very dark approach to the property ,reported outside lights not working and dangerous on step but nothing done . The house rules are endless so much to take in , no hot water unless you put your head under a cupboard to find a switch amidst all the clutter in there , it’s fed by a very small tank so maybe fills half a bowl . Cold in the flat the heating is controlled externally ,we reported this also . The place isn’t for us and can’t recommend it , the photos are better then the actual comfort , the sofa is very uncomfortable , I think the flat needs a bit of TLC, and not worth what is being charged for out of season . Summary: Not as expected ... Read full reviewClose

Julie Ramcke 19/10/2025I liked: The apartment is in a brilliant location, just minutes walk from the theatre severn and the local amenities. A lovely and well equipped apartment but I would have found a microwave jug handy. The nicest apartment I have stayed in and would love to return. I did not like: The only negative for us was a TRUVI email which came through after booking and was unexpected as there was no prior information regarding an additional £40 payable for damage insurance, which is not refunded if there is no damage. We were outside the apartment for over an hour, trying to sort the payment, which would not go through due to a system error and I could not speak to anyone apart from email, which stressed me out. The truvi rep response was for me to find a better WiFi signal, which I found dismissive as I had stated I was outside the apartment. This was eventually reconciled and is by no means a negative on the apartment, just the lack of Booking.com transparency. ... Read full reviewClose

Pauline Nicholls 13/05/2025I liked: Loved the location. Room well equipped. Easy parking behind property (unsure why charged for separately as if we did not use it - it would have been vacant. 5 min walk and you are in the centre of Shrewsbury, 2 mins walk to Severn theatre which we used and enjoyed. We took a boat trip. Loved Yak & Yeti restaurant and the market (fab homemade samosas). Visited Ellesmere, Church Stretton and its waterfall, Attington Park and Ludlow. Would recommend all. I did not like: Nothing. If mine I would have put a small table to eat at in window space. We managed anyway. nigel goff 10/02/2025I liked: Amazing room and beautifully decorated, excellent location being close to town. Very comfortable bed. Watching the local wildlife in the morning. I did not like: Sadly we arrived during a cold snap and the room was freezing cold, we turned up the radiators but it didn't help, we spent the following afternoon in wether spoons to keep warm. The hot water was either boiling hot or cold with no control. The macerator kept making groaning noises even when not in use. ... Read full reviewClose
