The space
The property is stunning and modern feel. The location is right next door to Edinburgh Castle, a historic building Listed. This property is located in the exclusive and historic Ramsay Garden apartment block, which was developed between 1890 and 1893 by the renowned Patrick Geddes. Not only is the property situated at the top of the Royal Mile, next to the Edinburgh Castle, but it also sits overlooking the popular Princes Street. From the balcony, one can see the Scott Monument, the Firth of Forth, Princes Street Gardens, and much more.
The living room is the defining feature of this incredible property with the 3 windows providing fantastic natural light. This room is extremely spacious and open. It consists of two sofas, two armchairs, a dining table with 4 places, and a Flat Screen Smart TV providing guests with unlimited viewing opportunities. Overhead spotlights throughout really set this room off.
The fully fitted kitchen comes complete with an integrated oven, electric hob, fridge, freezer, and dishwasher. There are many wall-mounted storage cupboards providing sufficient cookware, crockery, and utensils for you to use during your stay.
The 2 spacious bedrooms continue the property’s modern feel. They both accommodate a double bed with fresh crisp white linen. Fresh towels are also provided.
The property has two separate bathrooms one of which is an en-suite attached to the first bedroom. The main bathroom offers a bath where guests can enjoy a relaxing soak. The en-suite bathroom also contains a washing machine available for all visiting guests.
Parking: Paid parking on the nearby streets is subject to availability, also available your parking space website and ringgo app.

Buses: The Mound is about 5 5-minute walk away from the property with lots of buses taking you into the center of Edinburgh and beyond. Further information can be found on the Lothian buses website.
Trans: Waverley station is about a 7-minute walk from the property.
The property is on the second floor, with stairs to climb and no lift access. Unsuitable for mobility/disability issues.

Check-in / Check-out
Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out time is before 10 am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time, as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
*The full address will be provided prior to your check-in, together with the access details.
* Please note there will be a fee for lost keys, £100 and Please note that a fee of £50 will be charged for call-out if you forget the keys inside the flat. The full cost of lock replacement will be charged for lost keys – please be careful with them.
* A £100 will be applied for late checkout.
* We provide complimentary tea and coffee, as well as travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. Other items provided during your stay are a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll. These should last a couple of days. If more is needed, there will be a shop nearby if you need anything additional.
* We love our neighbours so please respect the building and be considerate when it comes to noise levels.

Nicky Houghton 11/12/2024Very good trip to Edinburgh, lots to see and do. Apartment homely and cosy.. Views amazing. Central location, so close to castle and start of royal mile. Cosy apartment to return to after long day. Despite so close to everything was quite location. Lovely and quiet inside apartment. If I had any questions, response was almost immediately in the Booking.com app.. Towels hard and small. Note said toiletries supplied. This consisted of tiny bars of soap and empty hand wash bottles. Take what you need with you. Dishwasher contained a lot of smelly water in base, so didn’t used in case it was blocked. No washing up liquid to wash dishes. No tea towels. Shower head leaked. Temperature control for shower knob completely loose and not attached so temperature could not be controlled. Shower door handle loose. Design of shower means water leaks under door as result there loose floor tile and water damage. Bit of maintenance required to put right. Hospitality tray lacking. 2 biscuits for 4 people. There is Nespresso coffee machine no pods. For price point this should be better. Lots of stairs and steep hill to get to property from town/station so long as you know this you can be prepared. ... Ana Del 20/11/2024Alojamiento recomendable al que volvería si no fuera por la deficiente atención telefonica donde NO nos dieron solución. La ubicación, las vistas, nada ruidoso, la decoración.. 1. Incidencia con el suministro del agua en el mismo momento en que llegamos al alojamiento, no había agua corriente de manera que no pudimos usar los cuartos de baño, ni ducharnos, … ni la cocina. Llegamos a las 2030 horas de la tarde y hasta las 2300 horas no vino el fontanero. Tuvimos que llamar tres veces al teléfono de contacto de Pass the keys hasta que enviaron un fontanero que arregló el problema de inmediato. En las llamadas nos indicaban que presionáramos un botón en concreto, solución que no funcionó. Cuando llegó el fontanero, resultó que había que activar un interruptor que estaba en otro lado. Esta incidencia provocó que no pudiésemos realizar nuestros planes para esa noche. 2. En el cuarto de baño pequeño uno de las llaves de la ducha estaba averiado y además se salía el agua por el cable flexible; esto provocó que la ducha de este baño no se pudiera usar. Se lo comentamos al fontanero y nos indicó que esos arreglos se podrían realizar pero no en visita nocturna que se considera de urgencia; nos propuso venir cualquier día después, pero su horario habitual era hasta las 1700 horas y no coincidía con nuestra planificación. Así que no hemos dispuesto de dos baños con ducha durante nuestra estancia. 3. Detalles menores - la lámpara de pie del salón no se encendía, no pudimos comprobar si se debía a la bombilla porque no había repuesto de ese tipo de bombilla. - la cafetera italiana no funcionaba ya que le faltaba la goma. - la cantidad de amenities era insuficiente para 4 personas. En resumen, si no hubiéramos tenido la incidencia con el agua y el problema de la ducha del baño pequeño, nuestra valoración sería de 9 - 9,5. ... Read full reviewClose

We were not aware that there were so many stairs leading up to the place. It was quite difficult to get our luggage up and down all those stairs. Van de 4 dagen dat wij er verbleven hebben we 2 dagen zonder warm water en verwarming gezeten. De boiler/cv ketel ging defect tijdens ons verblijf. Uitchecktijd was om 10 uur, de schoonmakers stonden 5 voor 10 al binnen in de accomodatie. Uiteindelijk 50% van 1 nacht vergoed gekregen, dit is niet naar tevredenheid afgehandeld. ...
