The apartment is on the first floor and is all on one level. Picture windows look out into the street below, which makes it great for people watching. You can see the woodland cascading down the hill on the horizon. The apartment is accessed via a staircase in this grade 2 listed building. Cobblers Rest is one of 3 apartments owned by myself in this building so if you cannot find the availability in Cobblers Rest please take a look at The Eaves & Old Beams or you may wish to book all 3 for a family gathering.
Guests will have access to all parts of the apartment and a private parking space a short walk away.
Please note – there are 2 x sets of 15 internal steps up to the apartment. Once inside, the apartment is all one level

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.


Matt & Kerry have been passionate about the wonderful Peak District for most of their lives, enjoying the area for both business and pleasure. Matt is the main day-to-day contact, a business consultant, short term letting & property professional, successfully launching & managing his own Peak District holiday cottage business over the last couple of years, Kerry is also an experienced Operations Director. In recent years, Matt & Kerry also launched a property business in Bulgaria, helping customers with an end-to-end service, allowing them to invest in the Bulgarian property market, as well as build their own property and land portfolio. They bring an in-depth knowledge of the Peak District and understand the challenges owners may face in this area, helping them to maximize their property occupancy rates, as well as introducing many ways to support guests' enjoyment of the property and help them to explore the Peak District more fully.

Davies-Powell Alex 27/09/2024Location for Bakewell and Chatsworth House is very good. Private parking is great due to how busy Bakewell gets in the day.. The bed sheets had not been changed for fresh linen since the previous occupants. I contacted the property sending photos on our arrival of very creased and hairy bedsheets, only to be told the host doesn't see anything wrong. Mehul Odedra 06/09/2024Lovely comfortable flat with so much potential!. Overall the flat is nicely spacious and generally well furnished to a high spec. Living areas are clean. The double bed was very comfortable along with the sofa. Great location with a useful, dedicated parking space within 5 mins walking distance.. Unfortunately there were some niggling issues. In my opinion, addressing these would take it to a 9/10 property@ - The contact number for the host goes to an offshore call centre in the Far East (It is painfully inefficient providing the full address each time you call them, not to mention the effort in trying to understand accents). - There is no printed manual on-site so we wasted a lot of time trying to find instructions about the parking space. - The plughole in the shower cubicle was blocked. Again, time was wasted unblocking said plughole (**voms in own mouth when recalling this**). - We were not provided with enough towels, however the host did provide more within a matter of hours. - The fridge door doesn't close easily and requires a degree of force to push it closed. - No dining area. - Loose toilet and toilet seat. - Dirty oven. - Loose cold tap in the kitchen. ... It also had a free parking spot which was great because parking can get very limited in the town..
