This modern 2 bedroom apartment is well-equipped for short breaks or long term stays.
Situated down a quiet street in a secure modern building, the apartment is next to York District Hospital, 3 minutes walk to York St. John’s University and 10 minutes walk to the city centre.
We support responsible travel within the current restrictions and therefore my property is available for booking where the purpose of your stay falls within the current guidelines set out by the local Government.
The property is professionally cleaned and the linen/ towels are replaced with freshly laundered supplies between each stay. We offer remote access with easy self check-in and 24/7 guest support should you need any assistance during your stay.
There is an open plan kitchen, dining and living area, which is perfect for socialising or family dinners. The living area has 2 comfortable sofas, TV with free Netflix and a dining table for up to 4 people. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you need to make you feel at home – including an oven, washing machine, fridge freezer, and small appliances such as kettle, microwave and toaster.
The master bedroom includes a king bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers and en- suite shower room. The second bedroom has 2 comfy single beds and is facilitated with a second bathroom which includes a shower over the bath.
Guests will have the entire property to themselves.
Other things to note
CHECK IN / CHECK OUT
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.
TRAVEL COT
A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, and subject to availability. Please ensure you message before hand so that I can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. (I am afraid highchair requests cannot be met).
PARKING
Free street parking available a short walk away. The nearest 24/7 car park just a few mins walk, it is secured 24/7 parking and council run. Charge for the day is around £13 including overnight.

Although view from sitting room window is of hospital car park there was no noise to disturb at night. Co-op very conveniently next door. Beds comfortable. Plenty of crockery, glasses etc. Dishwasher, washing machine and microwave in addition to oven and electric hob. Whole property was very clean. Good functional property for a short stay.. Bathroom was cold and small heated towel rail didn’t seem to alter that much. Water pressure in shower was poor. Sofas in sitting room not the most comfortable but functional. sue brown 16/05/2024Clean and comfortable flat, especially if travelling to York without a car.. The flat was clean, well furnished and roomy. There were clear instructions sent beforehand. The kitchen was large and well stocked with a range of kitchen equipment, utensils and cleaning products. Having two bathrooms was helpful. Having a Co-Op next door was really helpful. The main tourist attractions were within walking distance with a tour bus stop half way along. We caught a taxi to the flat from the rail station but walked back to it at the end of the weekend. (not a short walk but possible). Can't comment on specifics as we weren't in the flat much but the main room with ensuite seemed a much better set up than the twin. Nice and comfortable, near the town centre walking distance 10 minutes, a supermarket next to the apartment the Coop very handy, they had a coffee machine and fresh pastry in the morning for breakfast.nice to have a lift to get upstairs from the entrance. Central heating works well.. The towel rail took a long time to heat up in.the.bathrooms. I think we needed a plastic shelf for the shampoo and shower gel in both bathrooms.. in the kitchen was missing a frying pan. I thought I would be nice to have table mats and coasters for table.
