About this listing
Experience the charm of Islington in our spacious two-floor flat, just a block from vibrant Upper Street! This period terrace home features two double bedrooms and two bathrooms, including an en-suite master. The open-plan living and dining area stretches seamlessly into a fully equipped kitchen, perfect for unwinding or entertaining. Our private garden is a wonderful space to relax on outdoor seating, under the fig tree!
Thoughtfully arranged over two levels, offering ample space and a comfortable layout for guests to enjoy.
GROUND FLOOR:
Upon entering the flat, guests are welcomed into a spacious living and dining area that extends along the full length of the property, naturally flowing into the kitchen at the far end. The living room offers a large double sofa and two comfortable armchairs.
An original, ornamental fireplace with a wood burner (not in use) adds character, complemented by playful wall art and a small library of London guidebooks. A Smart TV is provided for entertainment, with guests able to log into their own streaming accounts. The interior decor combines linen and hessian textures, lending a natural, neutral ambiance that is both modern and cosy.
The kitchen, also on the ground floor, is fully equipped with all the essentials to make guests feel at home, including a fridge-freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, and a Sage coffee machine. Guests should note that coffee is not provided to allow for personal preferences. The washing machine, discreetly tucked away in a cupboard, is available for use.
Leading out from the kitchen, a few steps down, takes you to the garden, complete with comfortable outdoor seating and a lovely fig tree. With lush greenery surrounding, this private space is ideal for relaxing outdoors, ensuring a quiet and secluded spot to enjoy during your stay.
The dining area, located at the front of the property, is a welcoming space featuring a large arched window with charming shutters that add character and allow natural light to fill the room. A table comfortably seating four invites guests to enjoy meals together, with an additional bench for larger gatherings, perfect for hosting family or friends. Built-in storage and ample space for hanging coats make this area both functional and stylish.
LOWER LEVEL:
From the dining area, a staircase leads down to the lower level of the property. The lower hallway provides access to the master bedroom with an en-suite bathroom at one end, ensuring privacy and convenience. At the other end of the hall, you’ll find a second double bedroom and a separate bathroom.
The master bedroom, located on the lower level, is a serene, spacious retreat featuring soft neutral tones and cozy, minimalist decor. There is a king size bed, framed by modern pendant lighting. The room offers ample wardrobe space for storage, ensuring a clutter-free environment. The windows are dressed with light, natural fabric curtains that compliment the calm aesthetic, while the blackout roller blind ensures a restful sleep.
The en-suite bathroom attached to the master bedroom is newly fitted, featuring striking, contemporary tiling. The walk-in shower is spacious, with elegant brass fixtures and a rain shower head.
The second bedroom is a cosy yet spacious area with built in storage space. The room features a comfortable king size bed with a rattan frame and ambient lighting on both bedside tables.
At the end of the lower hallway, as few steps down, you’ll find yourself in the main bathroom. The ceiling curves gracefully, which adds a spa-like feel. The focal point is a classic clawfoot bathtub, (note: there is no shower in this bathroom). An elegant, vintage-inspired sink completes the room’s style, alongside the soft white wall tiling.
COMPLIMENTARY WELCOME PACK:
You’ll find complimentary tea and coffee, along with travel-sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel, and soap. We’ve also provided a washing-up pack, toilet roll, and kitchen roll to last a couple of days. For any additional supplies during your stay, there are plenty of convenience stores just a short walk away on Upper Street.
You have access to the entire property with no disruptions. Should a maintenance query occur, you will be asked permission first before we access the property to carry out a repair.
