About this listing

About this space
The best of both worlds! Enjoy a prime location just a few mins walk from the bustle of the city centre whilst staying in an authentic Belfast neighbourhood. Our newly refurbished townhouse has everything you’ll need for a long or short stay including a work-out/chill out room on the top floor. And just in case you are looking for a view with a difference, we also overlook the eerily beautiful Clifton Cemetery and the grave of Ireland’s most famous 18th century rebel – Henry Joy McCracken.

Our townhouse is located in a fantastic area of the city. It is in north Belfast and so benefits from its close proximity to local cafes, bars and restaurants that are all found nearby. It is also just on the fringes of the city centre so if you do want to head into the centre of Belfast, you can walk there in about five minutes. Waterworks Park is very close by and I would highly recommend it for a morning or evening stroll or even the famous 5k Parkrun that takes place every Saturday. For all major attractions in Belfast such as Titanic Museum, City Hall, and Crumlin Jail it is definitely possible to walk but if you need a taxi or Uber, these are plentiful and very reasonable.

Townhouse
The house has been refurbished with new and very comfortable furnishings. Relax in the living room with comfy sofa and flat screen TV, cook a meal in the fully equipped kitchen, take a long hot bath or shower in the new bathroom suite after a full day sightseeing, or relax on the crisp white sheets on the very soft double beds (with brand new, incredibly comfortable mattresses). Each room has its own Smart TV.
We have intentionally left the top floor as a chill-out/exercise room so to create more space for our guests so please enjoy. This room has a really interesting view overlooking Clifton Cemetery where you can even spot the final resting place of Henry Joy McCracken (When in Belfast be sure to have a drink at the Jailhouse on Joy’s Entry as this is where Henry Joy McCracken was held.)

Check in
For your convenience, entry is via lockbox located just beside the door so you can arrive at any time after 3pm (Don’t worry if you get held up!), there is free on street parking right outside and there is a free-to-use washing machine in case you are in the midst of a longer trip.

Flexible
Finally, we want to be as accommodating as possible so although check in is after 3pm and check out is prior to 11am, if you do need leeway on this we will be happy to provide it if possible! Just ask us closer to the time 🙂

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

Chris Kelly

Hi, I'm Chris. I was born and raised on the north coast but like every other young person in Northern Ireland, was drawn to the bright lights of our capital city Belfast. After exhausting every fantastic nook and cranny this city has to offer I made my way around the world and throughout the next number of years found myself living and working in America, Japan, China and Korea. I returned home a few years ago to set up a home and raise my family in Holywood County Down. I took on the Pass the Keys Franchise in Belfast in 2019 and pandemic aside, the interest and uptake of our services have been incredible. My most valuable business trait is that I am honest and upfront - something that has served me well in building great relationships with my clients. I look forward to continuing to grow Pass the Keys in Belfast and offering more and more spectacular places for visitors to stay.

Clean and tidy property in small quiet street in neighbourhood Good location, not far from centre and attractions Tea, coffee, sugar, towels and bed linen provided Unfortunately the beds were far too soft for our liking but that's just a personal preference rather than a negative against the property ... Worry Stay. Perfect location. Takes about 16 mins to walk to City centre or; there's a bus stop 2 mins walk away. Very comfortable Beds, plenty of towels, lovely décor and furniture, well-stocked cutlery, pots and pans. TVs in every room. The chill room on the top floor was a great touch (bonus points for beanbag chairs). Well priced for all above. Would stay again.. Nothing worth mentioning. You basically have everything you need here. ... Read full reviewClose

We enjoyed our stay. Thank you for the access to prime and Netflix so we could watch movies on our off days.. It was located near the city and the bus route. They didn’t provide enough towels for the length of time there. I was told we could wash our towels but there is no dryer so timing of washing to hang dry was inconvenient. There was also no extra dish towels, paper towels or extra toilet paper we had to buy those items. So ... Read full reviewClose

Enjoyed our stay but the smaller bedroom was a problem and unfair for the 2 who had to use it. The size of the property was good. Location was fine once you got your bearings. The smaller bedroom was too small for 2 adults and should be noted on the promotional information. There were not enough coat hangers. Although clean the sealing round the bath needs replaced. ... The house was exceptionally clean. The beds were very comfortable. The communication regarding check-in check=out was excellent.. The only thing was the dining room wall, and the missing tiles on the fireplace could be fixed to make it look better. ... Read full reviewClose
