Welcome to Tan Yr Hald your perfect countryside escape! This beautifully renovated holiday cottage that is approximately 200 years old, and blends rustic charm with modern comfort, making it ideal for families, couples, or friends seeking relaxation in a peaceful rural setting.
Step inside to find to find a bright and airy home with tasteful décor, soft green tones, and plenty of natural light. The heart of the home is the spacious open plan dining area, featuring a large wooden table perfect for shared meals beneath warm pendant lighting.
The fully equipped kitchen is just steps away, with everything you need to prepare meals for you and your guests. Designed with both aesthetics and practicality in mind, The kitchen is fitted with crisp high gloss cabinetry and warm wooden countertops, offering plenty of space for food preparation.
Two comfortable sitting rooms offer space to unwind- one opening into the garden, perfect for soaking up fresh air or enjoying a glass of wine as the sun sets. The other with comfortable sofas, cosy log burner and large smart TV for your entertainment.
Each bedroom is a calming sanctuary, thoughtfully styled with soft linens, leafy prints, and relaxing touches. There are three comfortable bedrooms in the property, one king size bedroom, One double bedroom and one twin room with two singles beds. All with ample storage space to store your belongings.
Both bathrooms are modern and fresh, one with a walk-in shower, and the other featuring a roll top bath. On the ground floor you will also find a WC for convenience.
Step outside into your own secluded sanctuary – a large private garden surrounded by nature and mature trees, perfect for soaking up the peaceful pace of rural life. This beautifully maintained outdoor space offers a blend of lawn, woodland and stone features, creating an idyllic backdrop for relaxing or dining al fresco.
The garden offers a generous patio dining area, with a stylish rattan table and chairs, ideal for lunches out in the sun.
Guests have access to the entire property during their stay.
This property is professionally managed by Pass the Keys Anglesey on behalf of Carolyn, which means guests have access to a 24 hour dedicated support line, professional and thorough cleans between stays, linen, bath and hand towels and hotel style toiletries.
We also provide 24/7 guest support and local personal service before and during your stay.
The local community-based team of Pass the Keys® personally inspects the property and certifies the home has met Pass the Keys®’s Property Readiness Standard.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.


Gareth is the Franchise Owner of Pass the Keys Anglesey and has lived in North Wales all his life, with roots in the Caernarfon area. Having spent many holidays as a child exploring Anglesey and the surrounding areas, he feels very passionate about this special island. Gareth has developed a range of skills, knowledge and experience from his career that will be invaluable in helping Anglesey property owners make the most of all that Pass the Keys has to offer them. His business partner Nic is Operations Manager and was brought up outside of Beaumaris in a little village called Llansadwrn.
