About this space
My apartment is on the 1st floor, with lift access, and within a modern, secure gated complex. You can expect to find high quality furnishings, and interiors finished to an immaculate standard.

Perfectly located for those where location is key! Explore the cultural and historic attractions just a few minutes walk away. Sainsbury’s Local, public houses and frequent bus services are on your doorstep. Nearby, Bishopthorpe Road and Micklegate have a fantastic range of local shops and amenities.

The space
The entrance hallway leads to all rooms; the bathroom, bedroom and a beautiful, spacious kitchen living room.

The bedroom has a king size bed and the addition of a Juliette balcony looking out onto Skeldergate. There’s plenty of storage available; a wardrobe, vanity unit (with stool and mirror) and night tables with reading lamps. Fresh white bedding and towels are provided (hand towel and bath towel per person), as well as miniature travel sized bottles of shampoo, shower gel and soap.

In the kitchen, appliances include use of a fridge freezer, washer dryer, electric oven and hob, dishwasher, kettle and toaster. There is a waste disposal unit next to the kitchen sink to offer a practical and efficient solution to food waste.

The kitchen is stocked with cooking equipment for those who would like to prepare a home cooked meal or enjoy breakfast at home. There will be some complimentary tea/coffee waiting for you which I am sure will be useful for those arriving after a long journey! Our Nespresso Vertuo machine will come with a selection of pods.
Other items included are a washing-up pack, toilet roll and kitchen roll, which will last a couple of days. (If wish to purchase more for your stay there is a Sainsbury’s Local a few minutes walk away.)

Within the open plan set up is a dining table and four chairs, and large comfortable sofa by the window. The sofa transforms into a double bed, and in addition, there are two armchairs. The Smart TV with Freeview allows guests to access TV applications for Netflix, Apple TV, Amazon Prime, Disney Plus etc.

The spacious bathroom has a three piece white suite, with shower over the bath.

A travel cot and highchair are within the apartment which can be borrowed if you are travelling with a baby or toddler.

Due to the city centre location, there is no parking space associated with my property. Paid parking is available at nearby car parks, the closest being; Nunnery Lane Car Park and NCP Tanner Row.
Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire apartment.

Other things to note

CHECK IN / CHECK OUT:
Check-in time is after 4pm and check-out time is before 10am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.
Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.

FAMILY FACILITIES:
A travel cot and a high chair are in the property. Guests are welcome to make use of the additional facilities however I politely ask that the travel cot is packed down and returned back to its original place of storage, and that the high chair is wiped down and also moved back before you check out.
Please can guests also bring their own cot bedding.

IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.

The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.

Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

      All of the above.. The heating was a bit erratic. You should put a sticker on the radiators indicating on/off, as it is the opposite to settings for plugs. We may have experienced our heating difficulties as a result of this. ... Read full reviewClose

      great city centre location.. Location was excellent, only a few minutes to the city centre. Flat is very comfortable, modern, clean and well equipped.. Finding the key lock box was a nightmare. For some odd reason the key box is 10 mins walk away ... we wasted an hour walking round trying to find it in the dark. If it wasn't for another resident we'd not have found it. We were tired, wet and cold - didn't make a great start to the weekend. Help line wasn't answered. Heating system just had a mind of its own.       Gute Lage, Abwicklung über Firma nicht empfehlenswert. Sehr gute Lage, Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und bietet viel Platz.. Die Schlüsselübergabe war eine Katastrophe. Der Schlüssel war in einer Straße deponiert, der Straßenname wurde aber nicht verraten! Anhand von Fotos sollte man den Weg zum Schlüssel finden. Auch musste wir vorher viel zu viele persönliche Daten an eine Firma geben, die für die Abwicklung zuständig war. Die Wohnung liegt in einem Innenhof, der schlecht beleuchtet ist.       Superb secure location in central York would definitely recommend.. Location excellent and apartment security was good, and overall cleanliness was very good.. Lack of microwave would have been useful, a better sofa would have been appreciated. Key location could be improved, someone left a copy of their instructions which mentioned Fetter Lane then St Martins Lane, which seemed clearer, but to be fair the map was ok but small. ...       Long weekend break. Very close to the train station . Great location close the centre no need for taxis to town . Very quiet ..
