Michael Cook 24/10/2024Excellent location and superb coastal scenery, great for walkers, with country routes to Grange over Sands and Cartmel straight from the back door. Plenty areas to explore using local rail service. Arnside is a lovely village to spend a few hrs.. Although accommodation was spacious and well equipped, the apartment lacked some catering items which I would have expected to have been present ... Read full reviewClose

Josephine Fitzpatrick 17/09/2024Beautiful apartment, very spacious, great location.. The lift didn't work, I have mobility issues so that was hard for me in the stairs. There wasn't enough saucepans ( only 1) no bread knife, a lot of the crockery had chips in them. There was an awful smell in both of the en-suites . Also the bracket was off the fridge door. ... David Heys 28/08/2024Brilliant stay, just the one blip with the door being locked upon our return on Monday evening.. Lovely spec property with great views, our 2nd visit.. Returning from a day out at around 9.45pm we found the outer door locked. It was raining heavily and we were wet through before we managed to open the door using an umbrella. I did call a helpline and was actually on the call when we got in. There does not seem to be a contingency in case the door is locked from the inside. Worth noting that the door was also locked when we were leaving in the morning. This may have been an innocent mistake by another guest, but we were very lucky to get in. ... Read full reviewClose

Lisa Cook 11/08/2024Stunning views & comfy beds. Location and viiew from all front facing windows were fabulous!. Grounds well maintained, stunning setting. Comfy beds, provided liquid soap, shower/shampoo & conditioner. Tastefully decorated, comfy sofas and chairs, huge living space woth lovely big windows. Could happily move in permanently as such a wonderful view 😁 Large fridge amd freezer which is great if staying for a longer break. Quiet location. If you like golf, perfect location as over looking a golf course. Can walk in to Grange and to the promenade with ease. 2 parking spaces, all clearly marked. We had a great stay- thank you!. Only 1 x key provided. Only 3 of us stayed even though we booked for 6. Had we all been well enough to have stayed 1 key not enough between 6 people (2 families). No info folder on the area, walks from the door, whats on local, take away menus, pub & restaurant menus would always be appreciated, especially as it was our first time to the area. The 2 ensuites had a drainage smell on arrival and intermittently. Shower in double room- unable to change temperature, it was boiling so had to transfer to main bathroom shower mid shower. The main bathroom needs full length blinds as if in the shower you can be seen from the walking path at the top (leads to the hotel next door). Coffee machine- we would have like to use, but didn't seem to be all there? Need more mugs etc only 6, need at least double of number of people accommodation aimed at. Coat hangers - need to replace with decent ones and bin the wire ones- urrgh pet hate. I found enough half decent wooden ones between all the wardrobes for 2 people to get by as only stayed 3 nights (out teenager left his clothes in his case). We stay in a lots of different places throughout the year and this is only 2nd time we haven't been provided with milk, fresh bread/cake/cookies, scone, fresh eggs or similar (treat relating to the area), which is always a lovely touch, so we missed that, makes it feel extra special. I'd expect at lrast miilk for a hot drink on arrival 😏. If booking and a lift is important to you, check if it is working, as lift currently out of order (we didn't need it though). Didn't like how forced to pay £40 insurance or £500 deposit with non-refundable £10....never had.that before. ... Read full reviewClose

Deeanne Royle 04/04/2024Really enjoyed our stay, beautiful apartment. We will definitely stay again.. Very spacious, modern, well equipped, everything we needed for a family of five. Even though there was someone in the apartment above us we never heard them. It was very quiet with spectacular views of the sea.. There was a slight drains smell from the middle en-suite bathroom but it wasn’t there all the time. ... Read full reviewClose
