I am Gordon, Franchise Owner of Pass the Keys® Rye & Camber, an area nestled on the beautiful coastal border of Kent and East Sussex. I live locally with my young family and we love all that the region has to offer. Educated in Belgium, the UK and North Carolina, my career focused on 5-star hospitality and the media (often both together!). I was a TV drama producer for many years, owned a radio station in Mallorca and, until moving to Rye, ran a successful ‘private members’ club’ in the heart of Soho in London. Along the way, I have worked at some of the most prestigious hotels and restaurants in the UK and overseas, developing the practical skills to get the job done, whilst honing an exacting eye for what guests really want. Our historically strong short-let market is currently booming and I’m excited to be working with landlords, helping to ensure that only the highest level of service is provided for their guests.

Lock Christine 09/07/2024We loved Scallop Cottage. We loved the very central location and lovely cobbled approach and beautiful front garden. We found ourselves popping back just for the pleasure of it (and sometimes due to the drizzle.) Also the fabulous decor throughout and the really lovely seaside theme. I have an obsession with shells now.. Really appreciated the brochures and information. I feel the owner really wants residents to experience all Rye has to offer.. I had a little trouble with the key safe upon arrival.. (I'm quite old!) My son didn't, upon leaving. He's done a 4 year Engineering degree though. ... Read full reviewClose

Esther Borovski 22/06/2024Quaint cottage but really only comfortable for 2, only 2 armchairs and 2 mugs, and the double bed is small. We had to turn the shower off while showering to allow the water to drain and prevent flooding. It's a really beautiful, quaint cottage with a really pretty garden. It was super clean aswell and the location is great. It's small though.. Shower needed fixing, 2 small for 3. ... Read full reviewClose
