Fabulous gastropubs and restaurants nearby, some of our favourites include The Magdalen Arms, The Chester Arms (renowned for their steak platter) and Arbequina (an intimate Tapas spot).
Florence Park is a 15 minute walk away and a great place for a scenic walk and has a community cafe, outdoor tennis courts, several dedicated children playground areas. Go for a scenic walk down the River Thames from Donnington Bridge to Iffley Village, and visit Iffley Village chapel (12th century).

GETTING AROUND
A 20-minute scenic stroll over Magdalen Bridge takes you to Oxford’s historic city centre and college grounds. Numerous bus services run from Cowley Road and Iffley Road to the city centre and Oxford train station.
Travelling further afield couldn’t be easier with St Clements Street bus stop a short walk away, offering a reliable 24/7 bus service to London (the excellent OxfordTube) and surrounding airports (TheAirline).

OXFORD CITY CENTRE ATTRACTIONS
Oxford city centre is just a 20 minute walk or easy bus ride away.
Westgate: New complex consisting of 800,000 square feet of retail, restaurants, and leisure space including rooftop dining terrace with views across Oxford’s iconic skyline, and a five-screen cinema.
Christ Church College and Cathedral: Founded by Henry VIII and featured in a number of films and TV shows, including the Harry Potter franchise. Stunning, must-see Romanesque and Gothic architecture.
Radcliffe Camera/Bodleian Old Library: One of Oxford’s most iconic landmarks, home to one of Europe’s oldest libraries. Make sure to book a tour in advance to have a look inside the Baroque dome.
The Ashmolean Museum: The world’s first university museum, founded in 1683. Free collections range from Egyptian mummies to contemporary art. Terrific views of the picturesque Oxford spires from the Rooftop Restaurant.
Pitt Rivers Museum: Displaying half a million objects from the archaeological and anthropological collections of the University, part of the Natural History Museum.
Punting: Hire a boat—chauffeured, if you prefer!–at the Magdalen Bridge, a 10 minute walk from the house. Enjoy the quintessential Oxford activity as you glide down the River Cherwell or Isis (the local name for the Thames).
Oxford Botanic Garden: Founded in 1621 as a physic garden growing plants for medicinal research, it’s the oldest garden of its kind in Great Britain and home to 5,000-plus plant species as well as a lovely riverside cafe, where you can watch the punts go by.
Music & events: Oxford is rich in cultural attractions of every conceivable kind, from glorious Evensong at Magdalen College to world-class theatrical productions at Oxford Playhouse. You can check out big-name musicians, comedians, and more at 02 Academy, around the corner on Cowley Road.

SELF CHECK IN
Check-in time is after 3pm and check-out time is before 11am.
Please note: You will be charged £100.00 for lost keys, broken keys and key call outs, so please be careful with them.
A charge will also be applied if guests check in early or check out late without permission or do not place the keys back in the key safe on their departure.
CLEANING/ LINEN
The property will be cleaned and prepared with linen and towels for your arrival. Mid-stay cleans are not included but please get in touch if you would like to pay to book a clean with fresh linen and towels during your stay.
We provide a limited amount of consumables (toilet roll, travel size shampoo/conditioner etc.) to kick-start your stay and will recommend a local store where you can easily purchase more once you have settled in.
SMART TV
Regular terrestrial channels not available. You will need to use your own login details to access on-demand apps such as Netflix and Amazon Prime.
FIREPLACE
The fireplace shown in photos are not for use.
PARKING
Parking is not available on premises but getting to the property from Oxford Station by bus or taxi is very straight forward, or get the 24/7 bus from London (OxfordTube) and surrounding airports (TheAirline) to St Clements which is a short walk away.
For paid, local parking spaces check out ‘Justpark’ online. Union Street Car Park is a 10 minute walk away behind Tesco on Cowley Road and offers paid overnight parking by RingGo app, cash or card. There is restricted hours street parking bays further down the street (perfect for unloading the car), please be sure to check street signs for day/time restrictions.
COFFEE MACHINE
Pods not provided but can be easily purchased from any number of stores nearby.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.
