About this listing
A newly refurbished, eco friendly, 3 storey townhouse with parking. The property is situated a stones throw from the impressive Lincoln Cathedral and Castle. Nestled within a peaceful, private development in the famous uphill area of Lincoln, which is brimming with independent shops, great restaurants and pubs.
The property benefits from superfast WiFi, a SMART TV and balcony. Both bedrooms have their own stunning modern bathroom with shower.
The space
The open plan living area has comfortable seating for four, dining table and chairs, SMART TV and superfast broadband. Patio doors lead onto the airy balcony with views of the castle wall.
This floor also hosts a fully equipped, modern kitchen with ceramic hob, electric oven, fridge with freezer box, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine.
On the ground floor and top floor are the two well furnished bedrooms with their own private bathrooms with showers (no bath). Each bedroom has a luxury king size bed with lovely white Egyptian cotton bed linen and towels. There is also a good quality hairdryer in each room.
A large spiral staircase links all 3 floors, an impressive modern feature.
The house is excellently located in a small, peaceful development yet just round the corner from the Castle and the historic uphill area of Lincoln with its famous Cathedral.
From the historic quarter you can walk down the hill where you will find the main shopping area, Cornhill quarter (bars & shops) and Brayford waterside area where you will find the University of Lincoln, about a mile away from the house.
Cuthberts Rest is the perfect location to visit Lincoln either for business or pleasure or both!
Guest access
There is one allocated private parking space in the courtyard at the front of the house.
If you have more than one car we provide Council parking scratch cards you can use at a nearby car park (1 min walk away). These are charged at cost via an honesty box at the property (£7 for an all day card and £1.70 for an evening card).
Other things to note
The spiral staircase is not suitable for very small children.
IMPORTANT: On behalf of our host at Pass the Keys, we require guest verification facilitated by Truvi (Previously called Superhog). Upon confirming your booking, Truvi will contact the lead booker via a secure link, providing detailed instructions for the verification process.
The online verification requires a government-issued photo ID and a credit or debit card. During this process, you may choose between a refundable GBP 500 deposit (plus GBP 10 transaction fee currency equivalent) or purchase a non-refundable damage waiver of GBP 40 (currency equivalent) to cover potential damages during your stay.
Once the verification process is successfully completed, check-in information will be provided. If you opted in for a deposit, this will be refunded via credit/debit card after your stay, subject to an inspection of the property.

I am Melissa Clee, owner of Pass the Keys Lincolnshire! The main draw for me to join the Pass the Keys family was the vast amount of expertise available and the 24/7 support through customised apps and technology systems. I was extremely excited to buy into the nation wide short term management company, as the Lincoln franchise owner this year, as I can now visualise a scalable property management service in Lincoln through the Pass the Keys model.

Paula Harrison 10/12/2024Very good. Lovely and clean house in a great location. Parking space included which is a bonus. We had 7 spiders in different rooms throughout the weekend which for myself I found hard. It was an exceptionally wet weekend so maybe that was the reason so many. Would love to stay again maybe I the summer with less spiders. ... Read full reviewClose

Richard Gadd 09/11/2024Great house, great location, extra charge left sour taste 🥺. Great location. Had to pay £10 more than the headline figure on booking.com. I have never had to do that before... and it was to pay the management company used by the property. Very annoying and disappointing because it should be included in the cost of renting. ... Caroline Rushton 20/07/2024Great place to lay your head near the Cathedral. Short stroll to the Cathedral, lots of places to eat and drink locally. Quiet location at the weekend. Balcony overlooks a school playground.. Relaxing in the lounge not great due to lack of seats which was the only issue with the facilities which were otherwise excellent. Big frustration with the added cost of administration of the breakage deposit. Renters are offered a waiver for £40 or a full refund for £10 admin fee which is a bit cheeky. ... Read full reviewClose

david lord 07/02/2024Fantastic location. Close to the heart if Lincoln.. If your looking for a comfortable place to relax after a long day, this isn't the place. The seating in the lounge was very basic and uncomfortable. Luckily, there was just the two of us, anymore would be difficult. ... Read full reviewClose
