Tucked away in the picturesque village of Hayfield, our beautifully renovated barn blends rustic charm with modern luxury. Just a 5-minute stroll to cosy pubs, artisan cafés, and an authentic Italian restaurant, it’s the perfect Peak District base for relaxation or adventure.
Step inside a stylish modern kitchen with a breakfast bar. The inviting lounge, complete with a wood-burning stove, is perfect for cosy nights in. Large bi-fold doors open to your private patio with a hot tub – ideal for stargazing after a day exploring Kinder Scout or the scenic Sett Valley Trail.
Up the spiral staircase, you’ll find a spacious open-plan bedroom with a plush double bed, walk-in shower, and WC. Every detail has been designed for comfort – and your four-legged friends are welcome too.

Please do not press buttons as this will lead to a potential malfunction
Temperature is set at 39 degrees & cannot be changed
The lid should be lifted & folded as per instructions

We also welcome well-behaved pets, one larger dog or 2 small and all we ask is that your pets do not sit on soft furnishings and do not go into the bedrooms.
Please feel free to bring your pet’s bed and blankets. A fee may be applied for soiled or damaged items in the property.
The cutlery drawer is a hidden design, it is located to the left of the sink as an additional pull-out drawer, within the main drawer
We are proud to also own The Cabin – Hayfield. This is a few meters away from The Cosy

In recent years, Matt & Kerry also launched a property business in Bulgaria, helping customers with an end-to-end service, allowing them to invest in the Bulgarian property market, as well as build their own property and land portfolio. They bring an in-depth knowledge of the Peak District and understand the challenges owners may face in this area, helping them to maximize their property occupancy rates, as well as introducing many ways to support guests' enjoyment of the property and help them to explore the Peak District more fully.

Claire Padbury 04/08/2024A cosy stay. Loved the layout of the house, perfect for two with a nice outdoor space. The hot tub was necessary after all the walking we did! Location was great too, enough in the village with a restaurant and pubs and walks from the front door.. Just a few things that might be useful to know. There was everything we needed in the kitchen, however, some of the pans and baking trays were very well used. The house was quite dusty with cobwebs in places and although we followed instructions and showered before using the hot tub, a scum line formed suggesting it wasn't clean. We were lucky to have perfect weather when we stayed, a BBQ would have been a great addition! ... Read full reviewClose

David Ellsom 21/07/2024Other than the issues above we enjoyed our stay was very “cosy”. Just like a home from home. The hot tub was perfect.. The bed too soft and moved on wheels. Also the so called 24/7 call number doesn’t do what it says. I’m still waiting for a call back from it. Also ”Matt” who was another contact never got back to me. The reason for the call was that the internet went done and we needed to know why and get it resolved for business purposes. As it was advertised with internet. Also the microwave being in the bottom cupboard practically on the floor was very inconvenient. ... Read full reviewClose
