Victorian-Style home with spacious rooms and private garden. 2 minutes from Rochester High Street and 5 minutes from Train Station 35 minutes with a fast train to London. 30 minutes from Kent beaches. 2 Lounges, 2 Bathrooms. Rochester High Street has fabulous eateries and coffee shops.

The space
A very cosy Victorian-style spacious house, a 4-bedroom property is located within 2 minutes of walking distance from historic Rochester high street. You couldn’t pick a better location than this one if you are planning to visit Rochester (castle & cathedral), the historic Chatham Dockyard, and the Royal Engineers Museum, as all of these tourist attractions are within a short walking distance, which makes the property a perfect location of choice for holidaymakers, corporate clients as well as for those who are looking for family staycations. Not to mention that it is also very close to all of the beaches in the Southeast of England and only 35 minutes of a train journey away from central London.

The property offers very modern facilities, such as 3 large bedrooms, one single bedroom, a newly built bathroom and two lounges with leather sofas to provide a perfect stay for our guests and a relaxing place for vacation. This property also has a wide-screen smart TV, free Wi-Fi, and comfortable settees.

Ground Floor

The ground floor consists of a large family living room for up to 10 people, a newly built modern bathroom, and plenty of storage facilities. The ground floor is designed for family/friend gatherings in a comfortable and peaceful living room. It also leads to a well-maintained private garden at the back of the property, offering our guests a perfect place to relax.

Basement Floor

The basement floor is below the ground floor, and the whole area is designed for an open-plan kitchen with a large lounge and dining area. You can use a house wood/log burner on the basement floor during the winter. The backdoor from the basement kitchen leads to the outside garden, where you can take your prepared food from the kitchen to the outdoor dining area. The kitchen is equipped with modern facilities. The washing machine is located on this floor.

First Floor

A staircase from the ground floor hall leads upstairs to the first floor, which has two large spacious bedrooms – One King size bedroom and another double bedroom designed for our guests to enjoy and relax, making them feel at home experience. This floor also has plenty of built-in wardrobe space. The Wi-Fi router is located in bedroom 1.

Second Floor

The second floor has further two bedrooms: one single bed with a trundle underneath that can be used as a double bed. This single bedroom can also be used as a child’s playroom. There is another double bedroom with an ensuite bathroom. All of these bedrooms are very clean and beautifully decorated, with plenty of wardrobe spaces and extra furniture provided for our guests a luxurious stay.

Outside

The location is in a very quiet neighbourhood, although it is within a 2-minute walking distance from the town centre, offering a place for everyone. The train station is within 5 minutes of walking distance for those customers who don’t want to drive to get in and out of Rochester. But most importantly, all of the local amenities, such as bars, restaurants, nightclubs, and many more eateries, are within a 2-minute walking distance from the property. Guest access
Guests will have access to the entire house as we want you to feel at home, and nobody will interfere with you whilst you are on the property unless you request extra cleaning during your stay.
Other things to note
Parking

A paid parking permit can be provided (£2.50/day) for premises parking for 1 guest’s car. There are other paid car parks close to the property in the town centre. Guest may park in Union Street car park, King Street car park, High Street car park and Almon Place carpark. All car parks are within a 2 to 3 minutes walk from the property.

Check-In / Check Out

Check-in time is after 4 pm and check-out time is before 10 am. A £30 charge will be requested if guests check themselves in early without permission or if guests do not check out on time as this will cause disruption to my cleaner’s schedule.

Please note that you will be charged £100 for lost keys, so please be careful with them.

Travel Cot & Highchair

A travel cot and mattress are available to borrow upon request, subject to availability, and at an additional cost of £20. Please ensure you message beforehand so that we can arrange for the installation. Guests will need to bring their own cot bedding, including a bottom sheet. Highchair requests cannot be met at this moment.

Additional rules
Please do not smoke inside the house and garden. Smoking is allowed outside front of the house area only. Please do not leave any cigarette bud on the floor.

Please note that before your booking begins, you will need to verify your details and ID through Know Your Guest. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a £40 non-refundable damage waiver. We suggest you buy the damage waiver as this protects you in case you cause accidental damage during a booking.
